Having recently been a Partner at Clyde and Co. between 2012 and 2016, and previously been the General Counsel at the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) since 2007, Albudery has nurtured an extensive network of regional and international affiliates, offering expert legal advice and professional services to multinational corporate client and international governments’ legal counsel on a broad range of complex cross-jurisdictional matters arising under Libyan law. Albudery has held a number of other posts including senior legal advisor within the Economic & Social Development fund providing legal advice to the team managing capital market investments to the value of USD 2 Billion, advising the National Economic Strategy (NES) group as senior legal researcher and lecturer in law at the school of law in Tripoli.

Attorney at law with 17 years’ experience in private practice, Husam is a specialist in employment, civil, commercial and investment law, a member of the Libyan bar association and an admitted litigator with full rights of audience before court of appeal. Appointed by the Libyan Ministry of Justice, Husam is also a Member of Libyan Courts Observation Commission.

A qualified barrister, registered at the Libyan Bar Association since 2002. Rajaa is an admitted litigator with full rights of audience before court of appeal, experienced in civil, commercial, employment, family and criminal law, having worked on over 200 court cases in private practice since 2006.
Aisha obtained her law degree from Tripoli University in Sept 2017. She was ranked top of class, with the highest marks recorded since 2012. Having joined Itkan Law as a Trainee Lawyer in 2018, she has demonstrated outstanding research, drafting and translation skills, whilst working on multiple cases. Aisha is fluent in Arabic, English and Turkish.
A former civil servant with extensive experience of working in the Libyan Bureau for Data and Statistics, with first-hand knowledge as a researcher in the population census for three consecutive years between 2002 and 2004. Eissa has extensive knowledge of government department administration and local logistics, with frequent direct liaison with Libyan state offices in all matters concerning intellectual property, tax, social security and manpower.
Senior Legal Consultant
With a career in law spanning over 33 years, Mr Hamza has held numerous offices including notary public, court of first instance judge, general counsel at the Ministry of Agriculture, director of public prosecution and supreme court justice. Fluent in French, Mr Hamza a visiting lecturer and author and has served on numerous legal delegations and committees in public and private sectors.
